Our founder, Dr. Hannah Mecaskey Conley, is certified in the Jai Methodology of Parent Coaching- a parent-centric method of supporting parents to engage in more present, positive relationships with their children. Jai employs a science and research based coaching model created for passionate parents, educators, therapists, healthcare practitioners and aspiring coaches, who see that the solution to the myriad of challenges that children face is in supporting parents’ personal growth and transformation. The Jai Institute for Parenting methodology is rooted in Attachment Science (understanding the way we were parented as children and how it defines our relational context), meaning our ability to connect vulnerably and authentically with anyone outside of ourselves as adults, and specifically as it relates to our own children.
This is the science of the nervous system and of learning to self-regulate, so that we can co-regulate with our children until they gain the capacity for self-regulation.
